GENERAL RULES
1. All students should be present in school on the opening day of each term.
2. Irregular attendance, unjustified absence or objectionable moral behavior justify dismissal. If a student is absent for fifteen consecutive days without an application, or for three days at the beginning of a term, his/her name may be struck off the rolls.
3. Every absence has to be intimated to the Principal immediately with an application duly signed by the parents. No student who has been absent from school or is late will be admitted into class without the signed permission of the Principal.
4. All students are expected to line up in silence for the Assembly at the sound of the first bell. Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to be begin the day with prayer to God and to listen to the announcements and instructions of the Principal.
5. No books, other the required text books may be brought to school. No student should bring to the school any objectionable articles, electronic goods, such as camera, mobile, USB Pen drive, I pad, IPod, laptop, tab, knives, Weapons crackers, explosives, etc. The offenders are liable to be dismissed or rusticated from the school and the confiscated goods will not be returned. The decision of the school authorities is binding on all.
6. No student should leave the school premises during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the principal.
7. Any damage of school property will have to be made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount is final.
8. The school is not responsible for goods lost. Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy watches when coming to school. Students are liable to serious disciplinary action for stealing or damaging the articles of others.
9. No student suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be permitted to attend school. After recovery a medical certificate is to be submitted.
10. During school hours, students are not allowed to receive visitors or make phone calls or to answer a phone call. If the matter is very urgent, the message will be given.
11. Any student desiring to be exempted from P.T. or games must produce a doctor`s certificate to the effect that he/she is physically unfit to take part.
12. All students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. They are expected to come in uniform everyday.
13. Students must come to class with the lessons well prepared and the home work completed.
14. The School Diary should be brought to the school daily.
15. Running, playing and shouting inside the school building is not allowed.
16. When students move along the verandahs to other class rooms, they must walk in silence and in single line. They should always keep to the left as far as possible.
17. Students should be particularly careful not to throw papers or fruit peels anywhere in the school premises. They should use the tins especially provided for that purpose.
18. No student should remain in the classroom during P. T. or Games period, unless permitted by the Principal.
19. Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school shall make them liable to disciplinary action.
20. Students are not allowed to enter a classroom other than their own.
21. Articles found in school or on its premises are to be handed over to the office.
22. Parents send their children to this school so that they may be proficient in both Hindi and English. In the school premises all are expected to speak only in English.
23. Students should at all cost avoid writing, carving and scratching on walls and furniture. Such habits are detrimental to good education and a sign of low taste.
24. Cycle stand facilities are available. Students coming by bicycle are requested to keep their bicycles in the cycle stand. No one is allowed to come to school by motorcycle.
25. Principal`s permission is required:—
(a) to make a collection for any purpose whatever;
(b) to arrange for a party, picnic or meeting;
(c) to join a sports meet or to play a game not arranged by the School
(d) to give presents to teachers or stage demonstrations in their honour; and
(e) to arrange for private tuition from the school teachers.
We Expect You
1. To be polite, friendly and well-behaved in and outside the school.
2. To be honest and truthful, whatever may be the cost.
3. To accept cheerfully every work and responsibility given, and to face difficulties with courage and determination.
4. To be courteous and sportsman like on the playground with opposing teams and with the officials.
5. To wish your parents, teachers and elders whenever you meet them.
6. To respect your own property as well as of the school and also property belonging to others.
7. To be bold enough to say `No` when asked to do a thing which you know to be wrong.
Recommendations to Parents:
1. The very first condition of admission is that parents/guardians will comply strictly with the terms and rules herein stated and pay by the due date the tuition fees and all other charges.
2. Parents are requested to enforce regularity and discipline. They will kindly see that their children daily prepare their lessons, reach the school and taken back home on time.
3. Politeness, courtesy of speech and conduct, cleanliness in dress and person should be inculcated.
4. Leave for absence may be granted for a sufficient reason, but only on application from the parent or guardian. This should be made in advance whenever possible. The absence and leave record sheet given at the end of this diary must be made use of.
5. Any communication (request or complaint) made by a parent should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher. When thus communicating with the Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letter the name and the class (with section) of their children.
6. No visitors (parents or others) are allowed to see the students or interview their teachers during class hours.
7. Parents are also requested not to visit the classes during the class hours. All business will be transacted in the office.
8. Parents are requested not to take their children during class hours except in a case of emergency.
9. Parents and guardians are required to sign all the reports and to see that their children observe all the rules of the school.
10. Parents must realize that the parent-teachers meetings are very important and they should attend them regularly.
11. The Principal reserves the right to inflict punishment upon the students, either corporal or otherwise, as he may deem necessary.
12. Students must not keep much cash with them when they come to school. Such a habit is harmful. Please check them from this.
13. Small children should not be entrusted with payment of fees.
14. Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy watches when coming to school. Fasionable hair style is not entertained. Keep hair short and simple (Boys).
15. A reasonable goods dress like that of the school uniform may be worn by Primary children on birthdays. Only the children upto class V may wear causal dress on the day of their birthday. (A reasonable good dress like that of the school uniform)
16. We welcome constructive criticism, we feel happy when parents take interest in the welfare of the institution and give feedback for improvement.
17. The school is not responsible for the conveyance. It is the duty of the Parents to reach the child and take back after the school hours. The school does not provide any transport facility for students nor does it take responsibility for any external party providing transporation to the students. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their wards reach the school and return home safetly. The school does not provide any parking facility in the school premises. In the event of any irregularity arising from the transport services engaged by the parents, the school management shall have no obligation whatsoever for any eventuality.
Examination and Promotion
1. Examination and tests enable parents to know the progress of their children and pay due attention to their studies at home.
2. There will be two examinations of the students to register their progress: Half Yearly and Annual.
3. Besides these terminal examinations, there may also be monthly tests which are compulsory. Any leave application on medical grounds during the examination period has to be submitted before or on the day of the examination. Any such application coming on a later date will not be accepted.
4. Promotion to the next class will be made on the basis of the average of the marks obtained in Half Yearly, Unit Tests, Internal assessment and Annual Examination.
5. The pass mark for each subject is 33% upto class X and 35% for XI & XII.
6. For promotion, a student must obtain pass percentage in at least five major subjects which must include the subject English (upto class X) and four major subjects which must include the English (in class XI & XII)
7. A student who, for reasons accepted by the principal, is notable to appear for the Half-yearly, has to appear for the Annual and his/her result is based on this examination.
8. A student who does not appear for Half-yearly as well as Annual examination will not be promoted.
9. Students whose attendance is below 75% of the working days may not be eligible to appear for the Annual Examination.
10. A student who gives or obtains unfair assistance at an examination will be debarred from the rest of the examination and will get a zero in that paper. Such a student may be detained in the same class or dismissed from the school.
11. A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.
12. Classes for Class XI will begin in April with provisional admission. The admission and choice of group will be based on a student's perfomance in Half Yearly, Unit Tests and Priliminary Examinations of class X as well as the conduct record of the student during the years in the school.
13. A student of class XI who does not achieve pass percentage in the total evaluation of the year will not be permitted to be regular student next year in the same class. However, he/she may be permitted to appear for the final examination at the end of that year. On passing in that examination, he/she may be admitted to the higher class (XII) as regular student once again, in which case his/her attendance of class XI will be accounted for.
14. Attendance in all papers, both in Half-yearly and Annual is compulsory in view of rank in the Examination.
15. Answer scripts of Half yearly examinations are shown to the students. Answer scripts of Annual Examinations are not shown. The result declared at the end of the year is final and not subject to reconsideration.
16. The school does not undertake to retain answer scripts of candidates who sit for examinations for more than 60 days after the results are issued.
17. A failed student forfeits all claims to concession in school fees.
18. The decision of the school authorities on results shall be final and in no case shall lie in any court of law in respect of their decision.
19. During the examination-evaluation period the entire question papers of Half Yearly and Preliminary Examination will be solved by the students in their respective copies.
20. Passing in Moral Science is compulsory for promotion. 50% of the Moral Science marks are reserved with the Class Teachers for behavior and discipline of the student in the school. Rest, for the performance in the written examination.

Classes I - V :- 10 marks on general behavior of the student to be added.
Classes VI - XII :- 20 marks on general behavior of the student to be added.
